Before you can get out of debt, you need to curb spending. Otherwise, you're just building more debt. We're putting about $3000 a month towards our non-home debt now, but it's going to be 2-3 years before we will be rid of it all. That's unless we take more drastic measures like selling my Honda Ridgeline, my wife's Malibu or another scheme we're contemplating (not giving it away just yet.
