Teenager Entrepreneurs Become Millionaires
Becoming a self-made millionaire by bootstrapping you own business is a great accomplishment – doing so before you are old enough to vote is absolutely amazing. Cameron Johnson, the author of the book You Call the Shots: Succeed Your Way– and Live the Life You Want– with the 19 Essential Secrets of Entrepreneurship started his first business at the age of 9 and by the age of 11 had saved thousands of dollars by making party invitations and greeting cards. But he didn’t stop there. While in his teens, Cameron amassed more than one million dollars and was recognized as one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the world. Forbes magazine covers Cameron’s business adventures in more detail in the article The First Million: Cameron Johnson. You can also read more about Cameron’s life on his website.
The 17-year-old Ashley Qualls is also a self-made millionaire. Ashley built the website whateverlife.com which allows teenage girls to download MySpace page layouts. Fast Company ran the story of how Ashley got her business started in the article Girl Power.
The video below shows Cameron and Ashley being interviewed on The Morning Show. Enjoy the inspiring story of these two accomplished young people who developed their own path to success:

I hope you find in this story the inspiration to become a great entrepreneur, and perhaps a millionaire, yourself.
If you are a young entrepreneur looking for a way to get your business started but you need some advice I would recommend checking out SCORE’s website for young entrepreneurs. SCORE is a great organization with excellent tips from retired executives who volunteer to help others get their business going.
